Robert Douglas was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2004. He has considerable experience in Family Law.
He regularly appears in the Family Court of Australia and in the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia in respect of matrimonial and de-facto property disputes. He also has a wealth of experience in Family Law, Mediation and negotiating positive outcomes for his clients. In particular his focus is on resolving family law matters without the cost, stress and time involved in a matter proceeding to court. His record in this regard is exemplary.
His experience also includes elder law.
He has acted for executors of wills and administered countless estates as far afield as the UK and Italy. He has also acted for the claimant and the executor in numerous estate family provision applications over many years.
Prior to practising law Robert was a secondary teacher of English and History.
